Winnie obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Law with Humanities from the University of Warwick, a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the University of Hong Kong, and a Master of Laws from University College London specialising in Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
Winnie developed a strong passion for family law due to its human-oriented nature. Her adjacent studies in the humanities and extra-curricular activities in law school, including volunteering at a London charity which provides legal advice for parents and carers, enable her to better understand clients’ needs in the specific area of family law. Owing to her postgraduate research in family arbitration, she developed a particular interest in contributing to family law-related alternative dispute resolution that is gaining traction locally and worldwide.
Winnie is further motivated to pursue family law because of her previous work experience in a local primary school, which inspired her to continue bringing a positive impact on children’s upbringing. As such, Winnie is committed to help protect the best interest of children and supporting families in the most personal and productive manner in and out of the courtroom.
Winnie is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She also has basic language skills in Korean and is learning German.
